About Me
Welcome to my blog! I am Engr. Arif, a passionate and experienced civil engineer with over 17 years of hands-on experience in construction supervision across a diverse range of sectors including commercial, industrial, infrastructure, steel structures, LP gas plants, and ADB-funded projects.
I completed my B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), where I built a strong foundation in structural design, project execution, and construction management. To further broaden my expertise, I pursued a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Management from Jahangirnagar University, which has enriched my understanding of sustainable and environmentally responsible construction practices.
I am also a PMP® (Project Management Professional) certified project manager, which enables me to efficiently lead complex projects from planning to successful completion while ensuring time, cost, and quality targets are met. Currently, I am expanding my knowledge in procurement and supply chain management through ongoing studies under the UK-based CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification.
Throughout my career, I have worked on a wide variety of challenging projects and have developed a deep understanding of both local and international construction standards, project delivery strategies, and stakeholder management.
Through this blog, I aim to share practical insights, project management tips, supervision guidelines, and real-life experiences to help fellow engineers, project managers, and anyone passionate about the construction industry.
